Motor Stop Clamp
$20.00
This Clamp works well when re-tipping saw blades and also sharpening jointer and planer knives.
Description
Use this motor stop clamp on the motor slide of the AV-40 grinder. Simply lock the clamp on the motor slide behind the motor carriage to return to the same grinding depth. The Clamp works well when re-tipping saw blades and also sharpening jointer and planer knives.
Re-tipping:
Used when top grinding the replaced carbide tooth. Touch the grinding wheel to an existing carbide tooth and lock the clamp on the motor slide behind the motor carriage. This allows you to return to the same grinding depth when lowering the height of the replaced carbide tooth.
Jointer & Planer Knives:
Used when sharpening longer sets of planer knives. Sharpen the first knife until a complete burr is created along the cutting edge. Install the motor stop clamp on the motor slide behind the motor carriage to grind the remaining knives to the same height.
